This Home Page is for the Shipbuilding in Support of the Global War on Terrorism event that is scheduled for 14-17 April 2008 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Convention Center and hosted by ASNE's Pascagoula Section. This event will discuss Fleet aspects like future ship programs and advanced ship design concepts to include DDG 1000, CG(X), JCC(X), LPD(X), LMSR, MPF(F) and other ship designs. It will also address future concepts of operations and vehicles. This symposium will focus on Fleet operations in regards to lessons learned by obtaining input from the Fleet in regards to C4ISR, Aviation, Combat Systems and HM&E systems. Joint forces operations will be discussed along with its lessons learned todate and the future challenges that the future shipbuilding technologies will need to address.
