Welcome to the 2009 ASNE Symposium on National Security: Achieving Global Deterrence and Defense.

We invite you to attend this two-day symposium that will provide you with very informative Senior Military and DoD Civilian panel discussions and presentations focusing on innovative technical solutions to detecting threats, providing a layered, integrated missile defense and global strike capability. In today's environment it is critical that we examine technology that is dedicated to developing, deploying and sustaining weapons systems that ensure our national security is reliable and always available.

Throughout this Symposium we will be targeting discussions that focus on technologies and systems that are supporting our nation in successfully achieving global deterrence and ballistic missile defense. We encourage you to participate fully in the technical breakout sessions, challenge the paradigms related to strategic electronics and sensors, and foster technical discussions about the future capabilities required to defend the homeland and U.S. interests.
